Areas of Responsibility

As a Graphic Designer you will be responsible for creating brands, concepts, layouts and individual graphics for use in media products such as websites, lead magnets, social media posts / ads and the occasional physical print job.

The role also includes working directly with clients to help them formulate a vision and to then bring it to life.

Qualities we’re looking for:

• Free thinking and a willingness to look for answers
• Confidence in web design, responsive design, graphic design and branding
• Strong communication skills (team and client based)
• Ability to work to different styles based on client needs / industry
• High proficiency with Adobe programs (Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator)

Examples of tasks you’ll work on:

• Creating exciting commercial brands
• Creating website wireframes, mock-ups, layouts and elements
• Creating various graphical assets for use in all things digital (social posts, ads, emails, you name it…)
• Creating and updating brand guidelines
• Creating email templates and signatures
• Optimising assets for high performance websites
• Creating and / or improving design related workflows
• Creating business cards, banners, brochures, posters
• …generally a lot of creating!

Keeping project management processes, tasks and time tracking up to date is key to the efficiency and profitability of the business.

You will be the captain of your ship and as such you need to set a clear plan for where you want to go and how you’re going to get there.

It’s your job to ensure your industry knowledge is up to date, at a high level and that you’re dedicated to setting and achieving meaningful goals (we will provide support, but you need to be in the driving seat!).

Authority
You will take the lead on client discussions, explaining key considerations, requirements and/or limitations to guide them to the best, most achievable outcome for their project.

Adding Value
Adding value to both clients and company is at the core of everything you will do. Making things look great is all well and good, but driving action (engagement, sales) is the name of the game.

As our main designer, you will have full access to any team members and company resources needed to assist you in achieving required outcomes.

You will report directly to Bjorn and Will, the directors of the business.
